Escape to North Yorkshire Moors’ National park to experience our Adult’s weeklong residential retreat!
These retreats are bespoke for all, whether you are an experienced ‘Jockey’ or just a beginner with a passion to learn more.
Depending upon your level of experience, you will spend up to 4 hours in the saddle each day, taking in breath-taking views, beautiful bridleways, forestry paths, moors, farmland, and green lanes. Our experienced guides offer riding instruction throughout each ride.
We also offer the opportunity to improve on your other equestrian skills; encouraging you to look after your own mount, learning about stable and horse management, tack maintenance and more.
Not forgetting that this is YOUR holiday, we like to keep our schedules flexible and offer you the choice to go riding in the morning and afternoon OR adventure out in the afternoon. We have a wealth of options in the area from shopping in the market town of Helmsley, a drive to the coast, stunning walks/hikes/cycling and more. You will not be short of activities!
Staying onsite in our farmhouse, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly home from home for the week, in basic style family or dorm rooms. Naturally, we can appreciate this is not for everyone and can recommend the below alternative accommodations, should you prefer something more ‘upmarket’
There is a comfortable TV Lounge, a games rooms with table tennis or, if you prefer just to relax alone, we are only 5 minutes from the Market Town of Helmsley where you can venture out for an evening.
All meals onsite at BRC are included and homemade, but you will need to have some cash available should we stop off anywhere on our rides.
Whilst we do not serve alcohol onsite, you are more than welcome to bring your own; (as long as you drink responsibly).
